ABOUT THEIR LOVE STORY
The genesis of Jheraldine and Eloy’s love story traces all the way back to the seventh grade. While interest in one another was mutual, it was Eloy who worked up the courage to profess his true feelings to his middle-school crush. Jheraldine on he other hand, told Eloy that they were too young to be dating. Disappointed but not deterred, Eloy remained close to Jheraldine. As the years progressed, a special friendship blossomed into an undeniable admiration and love for each other.
WEDDING INSPIRATION
Jheraldine and Eloy wanted to have an elegant, Disney-inspired wedding. Their Virginia winery wedding venue was Morais Vineyards and Winery, located in Bealeton, VA. Although Jheraldine and Eloy had pictured an outdoor ceremony, weather was an issue. The 90 degree and humid Virginia weather provided a strong incentive to move the ceremony indoors. Despite the change in plans, they both embraced and enjoyed every moment with their family and friends.
The ballroom at Morais served as the ideal reception space and featured guest tables each with a love story from Disney. Ashleigh with CharmCat achieved the look by crafting a custom, laser-cut design for each floral centerpiece along with framed love quotes from several classic movies to add that romantic, fairytale touch. Jheraldine chose mauve, blush, and gold as her primary wedding colors, which Chic Girl Flowers incorporated into all of their beautiful floral designs.
ADVICE FROM JHERALDINE:
“The most memorable moment has to be walking down the aisle, alongside my father, and seeing for the first time my future husband standing at the altar. I loved that we decided to go with the traditional approach because it created a memory I will hold dear for the rest of my life.
My favorite detail would have to be the reception décor. From the flower wall to the fairytale cutouts, everything turned out so magical. The combination of the chandelier centerpieces with the flowers brought everything that I had envisioned together perfectly.
One piece of advice I would give to another bride is to stick to your vision throughout the entire planning process. This is your day and it should be exactly what you dreamed of. And when the big day arrives, enjoy every minute of it. Even when things don’t turn out exactly how it was originally planned, embrace every moment.”
