Chris’s path into wedding photography began long before weddings themselves.
He started his photography career working for his college and later at a regional newspaper. While working there, he met another photographer who invited him to second shoot weddings starting back in 2005.
That experience opened the door to the wedding world.
After gaining hands-on experience assisting and learning the flow of wedding days, Chris began photographing weddings on his own. For several years, he balanced photography alongside his career as a systems engineer working with private and government organizations.
In 2016, he made the transition to photography full time.
And in his words:
“Photography is much more fun.”
Today, Chris works with couples across Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and surrounding areas, documenting weddings with a mix of intentional planning and candid storytelling.
