Weddings at 2941 Restaurant are for couples who love gourmet cuisine with a touch of sophistication

If you’re not familiar with 2941, the restaurant is located in Falls Church on Fairview Park, a truly unique suburban office park situated just inside the Beltway between Route 50 and Route 29.  If you’re picturing hustle and bustle and traffic gridlock, stop right there.  The sprawling property gives you that way-off-the-beaten-path feel….almost as if the bright lights of DC/northern VA are a hundred miles away!  As surprising as that may sound, the tranquil environment of this location – the highlight of which is the secluded and meticulously manicured grounds of 2941 – serves as a quiet and serene respite from the day-to-day grind of city life.

Amazing Indoor and Outdoor Spaces

Upon arriving at 2941, one can immediately see that the outdoor area is one-of-a-kind.  Framed by a beautiful 17-acre lake, the property’s gardens are absolutely stunning and include waterfalls and koi ponds (a photographers dream).  During the summer/warmer seasons, the outdoor terrace is the preferred stage to hold a wedding ceremony and is perfect for a refreshing cocktail hour.  On that note, 2941’s  beverage program has received numerous media mentions for their extensive wine list, signature cocktails, and craft beers.  In my experience, this is a must-have for the majority of grooms!

If that’s not enough to draw you in, the restaurant features the outstanding cuisine of Chef Bertrand Chemel.  Chef Chemel and his wonderful team have received numerous accolades for their upscale American fare, which is typically accented with bold French and Mediterranean flavors.  I’ve dined at 2941 on several occasions and have never walked away disappointed!

2941 Wedding can Host Small or Large Weddings

Weddings at 2941 Restaurant can be for a large or small crowd.  For bigger parties, you have the option of reserving the entire restaurant.  This means that the venue is closed to the general public and is yours for the day.  The main dining room is simply stunning and features exclusive artwork and modern chandeliers (see pictures below).  Also, there is plenty of space for music, entertainment, and dancing.

 

If you’re planning a smaller wedding, 2941 offers two other event spaces – the Koi room and the Waterfall room.  Both rooms are for intimate celebrations of up to 60 guests (and accommodate both dinner and dancing).

2941 Restaurant Weddings- What you need to Know

1. How far in advance should couples book 2941?

We accept reservations up to a year and half in advance.  Couples can book at any time.  However, I recommend at least 6 months if they would like to secure a specific date.

2. What makes 2941 different from other venues?  

Our manicured grounds offer stunning views of koi ponds, waterfalls, a lake, and our venue features multiple private dining rooms – including a 3-story dining room with floor to ceiling glass windows – world-class art, warm and personable service, and creative cuisine from our award-winning culinary team.  Critically-acclaimed Executive Chef Bertrand Chemel goes above and beyond to customize menus for our guests seasonally, providing fresh and exciting options for our couples.  Every wedding menu is tailored to the bride and groom’s taste and style.

3. When did 2941 start operating as a wedding venue?  

2941 Restaurant officially opened in Falls Church, VA in October 2002, and has remained one of the most celebrated and coveted wedding venues ever since.  We truly offer the whole package, ensuring a beautiful and memorable event for both the couple and their guests.

4. What are the rental fees and what is included (and what’s not included)?  

We generally do not charge rental fees for the spaces as long as our food and beverage minimum is met.  I request that couples inquire to discuss these prices. The wedding cake is included as well as chiavari chairs and all tables including standard linens.

5. Would you do signature drinks for the couple?  

Absolutely!  Our beverage program has received numerous media accolades for our extensive wine list, signature cocktails, and craft beers.  We have done many his & her signature cocktails. They can be customized for each wedding upon request.
