This year, I have had the distinct pleasure of working several weddings at Morais Vineyards and Winery. A picturesque venue in Bealeton, VA, Morais has earned a reputation for being one of the most beautiful wineries to get married. If you’re located in Northern Virginia or Washington DC area, Morais could be your wedding venue. If you’re simply looking to visit an incredible local winery – Morais Vineyards is your place too! Read on to learn more about what makes Morais such a special wedding venue in Virginia.
Stunning Grounds
No matter the season, the natural landscape and architecture of Morais Vineyards provides an absolutely gorgeous backdrop for all your photographs. But the eye-popping visuals don’t stop there – at Morais, sophistication and beauty flow seamlessly throughout the venue’s indoor facilities. I could go on and on about what Morais has to offer, but don’t take my word for it. Check out our wedding gallery of the stunning photographs of several different weddings that I have had the privilege of being a part of. Below you’ll see the gorgeous images of our latest styled shoot at Morais, a Modern Botanical Garden wedding theme. We had so much fun planning it as well as designing the concept!
The “Wow” Factor
Morais has a special way of transporting you to a different culture. As you walk up to the facade of the main Palacio building, you immediately feel as if you are in a faraway land – Portugal to be exact! At Morais, the Portuguese influence can be seen throughout the entire venue. This element alone makes Morais different from any other winery in Virginia. The fountains, pergola, chapel, ponds and other features of Morais’ grounds are captivating. Trust me, Morais sets the stage for a unique and unforgettable wedding experience for everyone involved!
Award-Winning Wines
If you and your fiance have a deep appreciation for wine, you will love Morais! Morais’ wines are crafted with such flare and uniqueness. Couples and wedding guests alike continue to rave about their wine-tasting experience. Keeping with their Portuguese heritage, several Morais’ wines are distinctly inspired by their cultural roots. Impressively, Morais has been awarded 99 medals at various national competitions!
Experienced Venue Coordinators
Since 2014, it has been our pleasure to team up with Morais’ experienced venue coordinators. Our clients have had wonderful customer-service experiences from the moment they tour Morais until the very last dance on their wedding day. Morais’ staff is attentive, responsive, professional and always ready to help. Suzy, Cathy and Danny will take care of you!
A Complete Wedding Package
When comparing venue cost, I always remind my couples to take a look at the total value proposition. In the case of Morais’, a typical wedding spans a 10 hour rental period. The ample rental period includes set up and break-down. It also allows our couples and wedding parties to get ready without rushing. It also allows plenty of picture and dancing time.
You and your wedding party can also enjoy the newly built bridal suite (great reveal is happening on August 26!). The groom suite, the patio, and the bar for a cocktail hour are also other spots for your guests to enjoy. All Morais wedding packages also includes gold chiavari chairs and tables for up to 220 guests at main building (also referred as “the Palacio”, which means “palace”.).
Lastly, budget-minded couples can take advantage of Morais’ special Monday- Friday and Sunday pricing options. For smaller weddings (of 70 guest or less), the Redondo room is also available. This particular area is located at the ground level of tasting room. Also, booking more than a year in advance has its perks! Please contact Morais Vineyards to find out more details.
