Hello everyone and happy 2022! Since today is the very first blog of the year, this is a Happy New Year message to all engaged couples, past clients, wedding industry friends, and all other kind souls.
We all know the last two years have been…different! This is probably an understatement, but I wanted to find a neutral word that acknowledges the fact that we’ve all faced unique and sometimes unexpected circumstances due to COVID. Whether we decide to qualify those circumstances as good or bad is up to each of us as individuals. Ultimately, we all had to adapt to new and alternative ways of doing things, be in different spaces, meet new colleagues and friends, and sometimes just learn to let go (so different wasn’t actually all that bad). I don’t know about you, but I feel stronger – mentally and physically – as well as recommitted to prioritizing my loved ones and excited to continue growing my wedding business.
This year, we’re looking forward to:
Creating & deepening connections
Whether you’re a past client, industry friend, or a new couple looking for a wedding planner, BodaMaestra is committed to getting to know you more and understanding how we can help you. For 2022, we’re working on creating a newsletter that will provide helpful updates about us, including wedding planning-related information and other services that we’re offering, such as Reiki healing, spiritual retreats, and home space clearing (we might include some cute dog pictures too!). Promoting wellness
We’re planning to have more online events at no charge. We’ll focus on wellness practices such as IG live meditations, Distance Reiki healing, affirmations, and collaborations with other like-minded individuals.
Spreading the love
I know this one sounds broad, but I’m referring to growing the BodaMaestra team so that we can help more couples and families fulfill their wedding dreams. We’re currently recruiting more talented team members, which will allow us to take on even more full-service planning, wedding design, and wedding coordinations.
Our hope for you this year is to be able to embrace change and to make the most of every moment. Of course, we also wish you much health and prosperity all year long!
