In your search for the right planning team, you’ll realize that there will be several companies to choose from, so please consider these factors:
Have great chemistry with your planner! (and that’s actually true for all other vendors as well!).
When you interview planners, make sure you have a special connection with him/her. The process of planning your wedding will be fun and effortless if you like your planner’s personality.

Establish clear and open communication
You and your planner will be working very closely together for quite some time. Have open and honest communication with him/her so that your expectations are clear from the first conversation. Listen to that gut feeling!
Consider their experience
Make sure a planner’s experience is validated by previous couples via their website, reviews, wedding blogs, vendors or by contacting a past client directly. Beginner planners will have a small portfolio and less experience – which is fine, we all started somewhere! – but make sure you feel comfortable with their level of expertise. After all, you will be investing a lot of time and resources, so experience is key.
